Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

AimiMate (the Android app com.aimimate.app and the website aimimate.com) is operated by SweetAI Limited ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@aimimate.com.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and a user ID. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and stored only in hashed form.
• Conversations: the messages you send to AI characters and the replies generated for you, so the service can work and keep your chat history.
• Characters you create: the name and options you pick in the Create wizard.
• Reports: when you report an AI reply, we store the reason, any details you add and an excerpt of the reported reply.
• Support requests: when you use the support chat on aimimate.com, we store the conversation, any email address, device details or screenshots you choose to share.
• Technical data: the app version and operating system sent with each request, and IP addresses in short-lived server logs. The support chat stores IP addresses only in hashed form to prevent abuse.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos from your device or your advertising ID. The app contains no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

3. How we use information

• To provide the service: sign you in, generate AI replies and show your chats.
• To keep the service safe: automated filters check messages and generated images, and our team reviews reports.
• To answer support requests and fix bugs.
• To protect against fraud, spam and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your conversations for advertising.

4. AI processing

To generate a reply, your recent messages and the character's description are sent to large language model providers through OpenRouter. These providers process the data only to return a response to us. Replies are generated automatically and do not reflect the views of SweetAI Limited.

5. Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run AimiMate:

• Supabase (account authentication and database)
• OpenRouter and the AI model providers it routes to (generating replies)
• Cloudflare (website hosting and support request storage)
• Google Play (app distribution)

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

6. Retention

We keep your account, chats and created characters until you delete your account. When you delete your account, this data is deleted right away from our live systems and removed from backups within 30 days. Support requests are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted.

7. Your choices and rights

• Delete your account: in the app, open Profile, then Settings, then Delete Account. See Delete your account for other options.
• Access, correction and portability: email us and we will provide a copy of your data or fix inaccurate information.
• Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK or California), you may have further rights, such as the right to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority.

8. Age requirement

AimiMate is only for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has created an account, we delete it.

9. Security and international transfers

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Our providers may process data in countries other than your own; we rely on their contractual safeguards for these transfers. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

10. Changes

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. For significant changes we will also notify you in the app.
